Gender as Institutional Decision

Now this is interesting:
I find it curious to have this depicted as “complex” and “difficult”. Or maybe Sports Federation should start having guidelines for individuals who do not fit neatly in the male / female dichotomy, like the variety of trans- individuals.
So, how will this be tested?
Amazing. Maybe, at some point, these institutions could have a discussion pertaining to accepting the fact that there may be more than two genders or that the gender categories themselves have to be reconsidered. And if they bring in a psychologist in there to make that decision, does this mean the Federations will accept the idea of gender as self-identification?

Acknowledging the fuzzy quality of biological sex would chip away at our entrenched, binary system of gender inequality.
